Windy conditions on the first two days made the dressage test even more demanding with Belgium’s Karin Donckers leading the way in a tightly packed leader board.

With ground conditions absolutely perfect and the weather set fair the cross country rode well with 55 completing without jumping penalties and 16 going inside the time.

In the Showjumping William Fox-Pitt and Idalgo put the pressure on the top 3 with an immaculate clear and only Oliver Townend and Flint Curtis could resist the challenge to win their first Badminton.
