Riding A Dressage Test demystifies what is required in dressage competition at Preliminary, Novice and Elementary levels. The international dressage judge, David Trott, imparts his knowledge in a simple-to-understand formula which explains exactly what a judge expects to see in the different movements of the tests. In addition, the competitor is given an example of each test movement with comprehensive guidelines for riding the movements correctly so they can maximise their test-riding potential.

Riding A Dressage Test is stablemate to Preparing For A Dressage Test and both are a must for riders wishing to give themselves an edge as dressage competitors.

David Trott has been riding since childhood and was a Pony Club and riding club team rider. He has also ridden in British Horse Society eventing, open team chases and FEI Intermediare dressage. He became a dressage judge at 21, was upgraded to a List One British Dressage Judge ten years later and in 1997 was accredited as an active International Candidate Judge.

Penny Hillsdon has competed at Grand Prix level and trains dressage riders to Medium / Advanced level.
