The Scales of Training refer to the basic requirements in any horse's training whether the rider wishes to concentrate on dressage, jumping or cross country and are essential to any horse's physical and mental development. They are used in dressage competitions to check if the horse's way of going is correct. This DVD explains what each subject means, how to achieve it and how to overcome problems. Exercises are given to help you improve your horse's level of training including the use of ground poles, music and other schooling suggestions. Riding dressage tests at Preliminary, Novice and Elementary is also explained.
