Description

Details

This final volume of the Classical Dressage Training DVD series by Philippe Karl features the two stallions seen in the first 3 parts of his Classical Dressage DVD series. Now, one year later they both show how they have developed and what can be achieved using classical dressage training methods.

Philippe Karl has always maintained that his training philosophy is inspired by the most accomplished masters, la Gueriniere, Baucher, Beudant, L'Hotte etc. of classical riding and founded on an absolute respect of the horse. Basic knowledge of anatomy, motion, balance, and psychology enables the rider to get the best from any horse without the use of force or constraint systems such as side reins, running reins etc. Philippe Karl's Classical Dressage training system is not only a pleasurable experience for horse and rider but also the kindest and most efficient way to achieve real collection and an expressive horse both on the flat and over jumps.

This final volume of the Classical Dressage DVD series by Philippe Karl features Sampaio, a 6 year old Oldenburger stallion and only ridden for two years, and Quiela, an 8 year old Luisitano stallion ridden for three years, who have already been seen in the first 3 parts of this Classical Dressage DVD series. Now, one year later they both show how they have developed and what can be achieved using classical dressage training methods.

These films will open new horizons within the actual dressage world by demonstrating how misjudged and misunderstood the most brilliant ancient classical riding masters are at present in the world of dressage training. How with the correct application of classical riding principles a truly expressive and collected dressage horse working in harmony with the rider epitomises the concept of classical dressage.

Phillipe Karl was a member of the famous "Cadre Noir" in France for 13 years. His classical riding technique is a feast for the eyes. He is also well-known worldwide as a riding instructor, trainer and author. His impressive and perfect classical dressage presentations are treasured all over Europe. In clinics and courses, he presents the knowledge and the aesthetics of the old advanced riders, adapted to modern times.
