Lucinda Green MBE is the only rider to have won Badminton Horse Trials six times on six different horses. An Olympic, European and World Championships medallist, Lucinda is now one of the world's leading coaches in cross country riding. Her particular passion and speciality is in helping riders understand the way that horses think and react while tackling the challenges that riding across the country brings.
In her Petplan Equine Clinics, Lucinda provides expert advice, sharing techniques and skills that have made her one of the most successful riders in the history of eventing. In this series, produced by Horse & country TV and presented by Jenny rudall, Lucinda guides a group of riders and horses of differing levels through a range of the challenges they'll face on course.
Episode 1: Preparation - the series kicks off with the all-important cross country preparation, setting each rider up for the challenges faced on course
Episode 2: Skinnies - Lucinda educates the riders on one of the most technical aspects of a cross country course - the skinny fence
Episode 3: Ditches - often seen as notorious rider frighteners, we join Lucinda as she takes the fear out of riding ditches
Episode 4: Steps and drops - this episode will be crucial to any rider learning how to ride up a bank or off a drop at different levels
Episode 5: Water - Lucinda helps train horses of different levels through a water complex and we watch as both horse and rider combinations develop more confidence
Episode 6: Riding a course - in this final episode Lucinda works the combinations over corner fences before sending them out on course, to put all their training into practise
